Demelza House

I received a lovely thank you letter in the post from Marion Hoare who organised the Demelza House Coffee Morning on Saturday.

We were lucky with the weather again and had an enjoyable morning with stalls selling cakes, book, bric a brac, plants and Christmas cards, as well as teas and coffees and a raffle and tombola. Altogether we raised £658.78, which we were very pleased with. On behalf of all the children and families who depend on Demelza hospice care, thank you again for your valuable support.

And Geoff even managed to win the raffle. Though the teddy bear he won was certainly big enough, I think he's wasting his time trying to train it to strim the fences.
