Godden Cup - Final on Friday 26th June at Folkestone

The Sibton Super Eight won through to beat a good Folkestone side in the Godden Cup semi final tonight.

Batting first the boys started well, with AA getting 50, but collapsed after only using 8 of the alloted 12 overs, and finished with a paultry 117 - Smudger 3 Not Out of course.

Very windy conditions out there and flippin freezing!

In reply Folkestone lost regular wickets with Smudger even slower bowling in to the wind getting 3 wickets and a catch, JK 1 wicket, Rowey 1 and AA 2 wickets and they were all out for 104 in 8 overs!!

Good efforts by the lads in windy and cold conditions.

The Final is this friday at Folkestone again, V Saltwood - 6.15pm start - be good to see you there to back the boys in a chance for some silverware for the season.
