We won the toss and batted first, we got of to a good start Osborne and payney knocking around some ordinary bowling, Payney eventually going for a plumb LBW on 37. Osborne went on to score 58 and was well supported by wren, Osborne then got himself out really and he should be annoyed with himself as he could have had a big score.

where did this end up?

An HPB guest filled in for Ken with some very nice camera equipment and took some great pictures at the MCC game in cricket week.  The pictures are in the Album here.

Answer . . . .

Redesgining the whole sport of cricket, that's what. Tom's already published, in fact, on Pitchvision as his Facebook followers will know.

I have also heard quite responsible and highly placed cricket coaches scoff at body mechanics and heard the 'analysis/paralysis' dismissal of the science and physics of movement. But see for yourself whether he makes a strong case or not.

40 hard-earned points. What could be nicer as a finish to cricket week?

Well, there may yet be another nice surpise in store. After Rowey and Adrienne's excellent social events this week and all the Purcell's hard work behind the bar, we may have set a new record for bar takings. I, for one, won't be surprised. Nice work and well done everyone who contributed.

We batted in overcast conditions, but a nice flat deck as always. Wash and payney went early with Payney getting a send off which was quite amusing. Then we lost Osborne early and I was thinking oh no back to how we started at the beginning of the season! however TK and have to say man of match Stretch stayed around and started to rebuild.
