A hot hot day.
Definitely win the toss, we lost it, but were asked to bat!
As usual good starts, but George fell early for 16. AA and JK carried on and looked really comfortable. Jakes a little streaky at first but he got it together and played well. AA got his 50 and looked set on 84 but fell to the wicket to wicket bowling of Ali Ramsey (Good enough despite carrying an injury) JK fell shortly after for 43, then a little like startled rabbits in the headlights, the middle order coughed and spluttered and let the momentum go as we struggled to just make the 200, at 205 for 9, when it should have been 250 plus! Ali Ramsey bowled well though and deserved his 6 fer, aided by some jaded batting!

"The best side in the division so far"- That is what they said to us at the end of the game, not bad coming from the side top of the league.
We were put into bat on a scorcher and a decent track also, we started fairly well Lodgey again looking very mature and hitting it very well. We then lost 2 quick wickets, Newman for a first nut. I batted with Lodgey and we started going well, scoring very quickly, however bad shot selection by both of us was the downfall and we both fell in the 30's. Shah carried on his form scoring a decent 43, AK batted well and patient in what was an unpleasant atmosphere for all batsmen. Grovesy, Meersie and HWT batted extremley well, scoring quickly and in the end we finished on 267 all out after 49 overs.
